Ehrhardt’s Fine Jewelry specializes in platinum jewelry, diamonds and fine gems, and has a wide selection of unique gift items to fit every budget. Warren Ehrhardt has recently crafted a large collection of platinum and 18-karat gold diamond anniversary rings in time for Christmas.
The family also offers a huge selection of fine diamonds, gems, chains, karat gold fashion jewelry, watches, and even clocks. Look for electroformed earrings that have all the sparkle of gold, but are light as a feather. And ask about the in-store specials available throughout the holiday season.
A longtime successful fixture of the East Bay, the Ehrhardt family is also involved in local philanthropic events. Eric Ehrhardt says his parents have always been “quiet philanthropists,” donating their time and money to community causes. “It’s an American tradition to help out those less fortunate,” he says.
Eric has been active in community events and philanthropies for a decade. Ehrhardt is past president of the local Jaycees, a member of the Chamber of Commerce, and has run twice for a seat on the board of directors for East Bay Municipal Utilities District.
Often, the 35-year old volunteer found himself organizing events simply because groups saw he had the energy and enthusiasm to drive successful campaigns. The key, he says, “is to work smarter so you don’t have to work harder!”
About four years ago, he started combining his community efforts with his business. Last year’s DARE poster contest and his work raising funds for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation are examples of his involvement. Business and community involvement go hand in hand, he says. “If you can’t do one, you can’t do the other.”
Ehrhardt’s Fine Jewelry is open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. weekdays, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturdays. Call 820-7999 for information on extended holiday hours.

Ehrhardt’s Has Long Tradition of Service and Philanthropy
Eric Ehrhardt and his father Warren bring a long line of tradition to the art of jewelry making and selling at Ehrhardt’s Fine jewelry. Their tradition goes back to lessons from a famous jeweler for the great czars of Russia.
The family has been in business since Warren Ehrhardt was the sole apprentice to Harry Kahan, one of the last jewelers to serve the Russian Czars and a jeweler for Cartier, Birks, and Tiffany. He bought the manufacturing business after Kahan passed away, and went into retail soon thereafter.
